Used to It Now is Hearts of Oak's newest album and second release on Deer Lodge Records. Fronted by Nate Wallace, the band features local Portland, Ore. musicians to create 12 twangy arrangements. Wallace's grating voice would seem out of place on any other record, but on Used to It Now it's ideal. And, with Wallace listed as having most of the writing credits, Used to It Now is a good album, but probably not for everyone.
